Oh my, I have been too busy to update Chech's blog. She is currently away for a week in a military camp way in Johor.
I have just talked to her over the phone and she was half awake after not getting any sleep yesterday night. They were in a jungle, learning how to ambush the enemy. Today, they had shooting competition.
Whoa! What fun. I have never held a gun myself.
She is going to be back Saturday evening. We are sad to miss Tiqa's wedding this weekend. Chech's parents will represent us though. Right after their eldest son's engagement, they will drive to Keramat.
To Tiqa, hope you're going to have a lovely wedding. Congratulations from Chech and I.

Saving Private Chech
Amazingly, my aching muscles, from all the running after yonks of non-aggressive exercise, are cured after a good sleep. Obviously, I needed just that.
Next, I am going to pack my things for the Military Module. With house-mix version of Kamal's secondary school anthem in the background, I do feel upbeat to start packing the uniforms, plus polishing the boots! *Sarcastic tone*
He and his ultimate fixation. I am surviving. Thanks to the lost thumb drive. Otherwise, he would have the anthem played on a more powerful speakers!
Tonight, we will get to see Ayah, Mak, Cajib, and Cilan at my second cousin's wedding in Kuala Lumpur. We have planned to meet earlier in the afternoon to visit my cousin, Kak Liza, who has just given birth to a set of triplets. Nonetheless, her little boys are being hospitalised still, so, Ayah and Mak decided to postpone the visit.
Congratulations, Kak Liza, Abang Hafez, and Marissa! Here, I would also like to congratulate our friends in the forum, Anne, Nurul, and Ieda, on the arrival of their new bundles of joy. I am fervently hoping that we will meet again soon.
Oops. Now that Kamal has transferred the anthem to my tabletop, after persistently asking me to search for my thumb drive, it is blasting from the speakers, and, to make it worse, he is singing along to it. On repeat mode. Go polish your boots, Chech! (Yes, I am mockering Kamal's loyalty towards his secondary school, alright, but all in all, the old boys have done a great job at persevering their spirit as a team.)
After a week, I will be back with a detailed review of the best sunblock in town. A more detailed review will be given after all of us have completed the Militaru, Police, Fire Brigade, Outward Bound School, and Biro Tatanegara Modules.

Husband '06
My husband is helping me carrying out the bags from his car while I update my blog. How sweet of him. And, how naughty of me. ;p
Yay! I am back home, and today is going to be only the two of us before the hectic Saturday comes our way. We are going to cherish it, of course.
Mwahs
(Ayue, are you reading this from the office computer while signing all those documents? Heh.)

Kuala Lumpur - Kota Bharu - Kuala Lumpur
I am in Sultan Ismail Petra Airport, Kota Bharu. I do not remember the last time I was here, but I remember the place used to be very small. Not anymore. The difference between the old building and the new building may be likened to how Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport used to be compared to what Kuala Lumpur Interantional Airport is today.
By the way, I did not just arrive in Kota Bharu or about to take any flight out of the state. I am here to fetch Chech. She is on AirAsia AK 6328, scheduled to touch down at 9:15 p.m.
I left Kuala Lumpur by car yesterday, and arrived around 1 a.m. after six and a half hours of non-stop driving. I am glad that Zam and his family were also going back to Kelantan on the same day. Otherwise, driving alone through the jungle road in the dark night would have been less fun. :)
Chech had a half-day Diploma Pengurusan Awam class to attend this morning. That was why I left earlier. Moreover, Zam wanted me to help with the the networking and server installation for his client in Tanah Merah. That was what I did the whole day today. It was interesting to be doing server configurations again after leaving system administration job back in 1999.
My wife's flight should be touching down any moment now. I am very happy to be back together in Kelantan with her again. Tomorrow is Aidiladha, and I look forward to enjoying the festive mood. After lunch, we will be driving back to Kuala Lumpur.
Salam Aidiladha from both of us.

:)
A devoted blogger, he has become :)
And, a devoted civil servant, I always am :)
This morning, the devoted blogger and the devoted civil servant took, what could be, our last dip in the apartment's swimming pool. I am looking forward to walking in the hilly Bangsar neighbourhood if we are not touring Kampung Berkat or hiking up Gunung Tampin.
After a week of food and workshops in Melaka and Langkawi, and more of food during weekends in Kelantan, Kamal and I surely need more physical activities. We started well by walking around Vista Seri Putra after early dinner yesterday. Yay!
So, is that our new year resolution?
I always want to live healthily*, that is for sure
*Challenges do approach. Kamal and I have talked about the choices we have, and we agreed that the best choice is choosing the best for ourselves.

Diploma Pengurusan Awam, Day 2

Diploma Pengurusan Awam, Day 1
Chech is starting her six-month Diploma Pengurusan Awam (DPA) course in INTAN Bukit Kiara today.
We arrived early to register, but as there are hundreds of new officers, it was not a quick process.
Among those that I saw were Zaha, Mas, and Wardah.
While waiting, I visited the canteen. They serve Nasi Dagang with Gulai Ikan Tongkol. Mmm.
By the way, I now know the DPA song. The first verse:
Sentiasa selangkah di hadapan
Dijadikan pedoman
Itulah iltizam kami peserta
Diploma Pengurusan Awam
I have heard the song so often in my car as Chech was trying to memorize it, it got stuck in my mind. Heh.

Two Zero Zero Six
Last night, I was wishing someone a Happy New Year Two Zero Zero Six.
The other party misheard me as saying, "Let's have serious, serious sex!"
Oh, la la! It is going to be another great year. ;)
