From Dusk to Dusk

Weekend 7.
The multi-coloured sunset along Seremban-Port Dickson Highway.
May welcomes my vacation mode with a public holiday. Time to share photos from a recent weekend escapade with my parents. Time to start a countdown for June escapade with my chums, too.

The recent weekend escapade with my parents was lovely. Initially, Kamal, Khalish, and I would love to go to Port Dickson after lunch, but later, we decided to wait for my youngest brother to finish a course in Bukit Bintang. At 6 p.m. the four of us made our way to Port Dickson.

Came Maghrib, Kamal and I wished we were already by the beach. The sunset along Seremban-Port Dickson Highway itself was glorious! Imagine the sunset by the beach. No stop though because Khalish could not wait to meet the grandparents. Once we reached Tanjung Tuan, we managed to catch the last sunset from our apartment at PNB Ilham Resort. Resplendent!

Weekend 1.
The little dolphin.
For dinner, my mother brought homemade grilled chicken and murtabak. Fruits and muffins as desserts. Khalish ate by the open windows, just to admire the swimming pool view. The next day, breakfast was brief because he wanted to be the first person to be in the children's pool.

Weekend 2.
Blue  sky, enhanced by waves of clouds, embraced by swaying coconut trees.
Kamal and I loved the view from where we lounged. Too bad we were not fond of the beach at the resort. Lucky us, Khalish fancied the pool. He only asked to go back to the apartment when hunger stroke.

Weekend 3.
Grandmother, grandson.
By 3 p.m., everybody bade farewell to each other. Khalish, as usual, requested Atuk and Wan to follow us back to Bandar Baru Bangi. He also requested to go to a beach. Only to fall asleep five minutes after we left the resort. It was too hot to be outdoor anyway.

(To Ayah and Mak, a heartfelt thanks from Kamal, Khalish, and I for the escapade from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We love you.)

Weekend 8.

Khalish was still deep in sleep when we neared home. Kamal suggested a Tutti Frutti date in the car. Perfect for the heat. At second scoop, the little boy woke up with a question, "kita dah sampai pantai?" To my delight, Kamal said, "we will be there soon." An impromptu visit to the beach! Which beach, was for Kamal and I to wonder about.

Weekend 4.
Fine sand, perfect to play with.

We chose Morib. It has been eons since we went there. From the first visit, we only remembered the dull ocean. Not even a place for sand play. An unfair perception, in our opinion, because we only visited one place. To our disappointment, the first stop we decided upon was the exact picture of the unfair perception. Venturing further, we found a resort with a throng of visitors. Oh, we adored what we saw around us, what we felt beneath the feet, what we sensed in the hearts.

Weekend 5.
Pre-sunset at Morib.

Despite the large amount of visitors, the beach remained unsoiled. Peaceful as well. Kamal and I were thankful Khalish awakened the adventurous spirits within us. Because of his persistence, we traced one side of the west coast to another, within a day.

Weekend 6.
Intensity against serenity.
The magical day continued at Pantai Bagan Lalang, where we witnessed another magnificent sunset. Do try the scrumptious seafood at Restoran Bayu Malam to end the evening. We did, and we will return there.
